Get your groundhog on at Windward's Holidazed II!
On Thursday, February 2nd. Windward and Jay Niice hosted the 2nd annual Holidaze Bash. Once again it was a huge turn out and an overall awesome night. Local Chicago area riders and customers mingled and enjoyed beers from our good friends at Goose Island Brewery and delicious food from Rockit Wrigley, while enjoying music from our man DJ Platz.
As allways, we had some great giveaways going on. Jackets from DC, goggles from Von Zipper – and the big prize of the night – a Custom X Snowboard and Diode Binding setup compliments of Burton Snwoboards. Thanks again to all our vendors and congrats again to John Jackson and his recent signing with Burton that made the grand prize possible.
The biggest winner of the night was Local shredder, Windy City Boarder, and good friend of the shop – Conrad Kostrzewa. He just happened to be filming the event while his name was announced and actually dropped his Go Pro when his name was announced. (video footage to come soon)
Along with the other prizes, we also gave away a $100 gift card to Windward. Local surfer (yes Great Lakes surfer), skater and snowboarder Rex Floodstrom was the lucky winner of that prize.

When that little groundhog pop’s his head up and lets us know we have 6 more weeks of shred this year, the only thing on his little furry mind is how off the hook the Holidazed II party later on that evening is going to be. So gather all your friends and head over to Windward Thursday, Feb 2nd for our second annual Holidazed II party featuring morning man Jniice!
Snacks, drinks and music will be going on all night long. Mix that with 10% off anything in the store!* As always, there will be free gear giveaways all night long. Do it to it.
